Nothing in the directions state that light must be mounted on a flush box. Now it is not water tight unless i put alot of silicon on it. Not a professional install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are great lights, very bright *by W***G on Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2019* Finally an LED light with motion activation that is super bright, and won’t cost as much to run as the old style lights they replaced. The area is now well lit when they are on and seem to be responsive to most any movement. Our old lights rarely turned on when we needed them. So when the first one I ordered came with the light sensor installed upside down I thought that someone on the assembly line was having a bad day. So I ordered another one. Guess what? It also had the motion sensor installed upside down. Look at my picture and then the pictures on the product page. It I installed this light the controls for the motion sensor would be pointing up where they would be difficult to access. Plus the lights would be in wrong orientation for lighting up the patio.
